The finished residence, complete with modern conveniences (1932) such as an extensive hot water heating system, 300 amp service, and thousands of dollars in hardware were all added. In 1956, the home was sold to a group of individuals who converted it into a restaurant. Today, it still operates as a restaurant called the Stokesay Castle and you are invited by the owners to tour the property and its surroundings.
