Rural Opportunities Migrant Farmworker HousingSituated about a half hour above Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, Rural Opportunities, in conjunction with a USDA financial assistance program, have embarked on this unique project of creating housing units for migrant farmworkers. Seven duplex housing units were designed around square footage and budgetary restraints, as well as, durable construction materials. The typical duplex layout was altered for one unit to provide space for a manager, common laundry facility, and fully compliant ADA living unit.
