Location: Reading, Pennsylvania

Client: Pennrose Properties

Scope of Work: The project consisted of the total rehabilitation of the former Abraham Lincoln Hotel, located in the Callowhill Historic District and is subject to the Secretary of Interior's standards for historic rehabilitation.

The project involved rehabilitation of 49,800 sq.ft. of floor space on six floors into 52 units of apartments for the elderly. The basement through 3rd floors were renovated to accommodate miscellaneous facilities such as tenant storage, mechanical and electrical equipment, housing office, entrance lobby, ballroom, toilet rooms and rental spaces.

Future plans were addressed for a fully functional Hotel to accompany wedding receptions, restaurant, and overnight accommodations.
