Township of Spring Municipal Building

Front Elevation showing addition

Location: Spring Twp., Pennsylvania

Scope of Work: Muhlenberg/Greene Architects was commissioned by the Township of Spring to conduct a feasibility study to review the Municipal departments current and projected needs and the facility requirements to address those needs. The study provided a life cycle analysis of the existing building and a projected space need for the Township offices for the next decade. The study also produced a schematic design that proposed a major renovation of the main floor and the construction of a three story addition to the existing building. The renovation included a reorganization of the spatial arrangement of the building including revising the interior circulation to produce a more functional separation of public spaces and township services and redirected the public access to the building.
