St. Michael's Church

Location: Hamburg, Pennsylvania

Scope of Work:  Muhlenberg Greene was commissioned to provide professional services for the addition and renovations to the historic St. Michael’s Church.

The renovations were made to the existing 6,000 sq.ft. 2-story + basement classroom office structure built in the late 1970s.  Renovations included providing ADA toilet room, daycare facility, classrooms, and social room.

The 5,200 sq.ft. addition provided a connecting breezeway for gathering and flowing between classrooms and sanctuary.   Also included in the new addition is the Pastor’s and administrative offices, additional toilet rooms and classrooms.

Site design was challenged by connecting multiple existing levels, including the parking levels into the new addition.
